The Opportunity
As the cleaner reporting to the Site Manager, you will undertake:
- General cleaning in an industrial plant and factory complex
- Sweeping and mopping of office and plant
- Vacuuming
- Disinfecting areas such as plant, meal rooms, offices, bathrooms
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment
- Using a buffer, high-pressure washer, scrubber and floor sweeper
- Removal of rubbish
- Use of chemicals to sanitise and disinfect
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will be suitably experienced and has:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Reliable transport, shifts vary across 7 days
- Solid knowledge of cleaning and hygiene-related services
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated)
- A national criminal history check is required for this role
- Elevated work platform- EWP ticket (desirable)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $53,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Banksmeadow NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (Preferred)
