SCM Planning Specialist
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to demand planning process in close collaboration with sales.
Review historical demands, develop statistical forecast models and optimize stocks.
Preparation of business case regarding planned changes of stock assortment.
Calculation and definition of inventory assortment and safety stock in order to guarantee agreed SLAs regarding availability of parts.
Controlling of parts availability and stock turn development.
Selection and maintenance of SAP planning parameters (safety stock, lot size).
Support elaboration of global processes and guidelines.
Observance of defined processes and guidelines.
Provide reports and requested information to management as needed.
Qualifications
Educated to bachelor degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as business administration or supply chain management.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S4HANA), LogControl or other software related to inventory planning is preferred.
Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables,...).
Experience in process improvement initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
